We are committed to Coopersale being a safe, friendly and thriving place to live, work and be. We work together to coordinate and deliver activities to make connections, create positive change and maintain a strong sense of community spirit in our village.
Come along to Institute Hall for a relaxed evening of cheese, wine, and good company. It’s a great chance to catch up with neighbours, enjoy a drink and a snack, and feel part of our wonderful village community.
During the annual general meeting, you’ll hear about the Coopersale Community’s achievements over the past year and the exciting plans we’re shaping for the year ahead.
We’re also looking for new people to join the committee, bringing fresh perspectives, new ideas and enthusiasm. Being a committee member is a small commitment that makes a big difference in the wider community.
If you love our village, come along to play an active role in Coopersale’s future.
In 2025, we commissioned a map and activity trail for Gernon Bushes Nature Reserve, our local Site of Specific Scientific Interest, protected by Natural England and Essex Wildlife Trust.
We welcome adults and young people who have an hour to give or a talent to share to sign up to our volunteer contact list. No amount of support is too little. Examples of help needed include setting up or clearing away at a village event, making a cake or cookies for a bake sale or delivering Coopersale Chronicles.
Click here to complete the form to join our casual volunteer list. We will send out an email request ahead of any events or activities where support is needed.
