Coopersale Community was born out of the spring 2020 lockdown. When COVID‑19 reshaped our world, the people of Coopersale responded with generosity, creativity and care. Neighbours supported neighbours, small acts of kindness multiplied, and a sense of togetherness grew stronger than ever.
We formed Coopersale Community to bring these efforts together, encourage more people to get involved and create lasting positive change for our village. Our work has focused on building partnerships, supporting local initiatives and helping Coopersale remain a place where everyone feels safe, connected and valued.
In March 2021, we became an officially constituted, non‑political volunteer group.
At our 2026 AGM (13 March 2026), we were unable to appoint a new Chair. Rather than dissolve the group, the committee chose to pause activity for one year.
In early 2027, we will come together again to decide the next chapter for Coopersale Community.
Our quarterly newsletter, the Coopersale Chronicle, has been delivered door to door for many years, helping keep our village connected with news, stories and upcoming events.
The last edition was published in February 2026, ahead of our temporary pause.

Since May 2020 we've held monthly meetings. Minutes from our last meeting are available on request. Contact us to request minutes from any previous meetings.
